Background
I was born on October 2, 1971 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Shortly after my birth, my family moved to Frederick, Maryland. When I was 14, we moved to Columbus, Ohio, where I attended Worthington High School. I earned my B.S. in Accounting and my love of Buckeye football at The Ohio State University. Shortly after graduating, I passed the CPA exam and moved to Colorado.

My daughters are my pride and joy. Marissa Ruth Hilmas was born on April 22, 2000. Julia Christy Hilmas was born on October 30, 2001.
My hobbies include skiing, camping, golfing, and watching college football.
